RESEARCH

In a world transformed by artificial intelligence, understanding and cultivating the human brain will be the greatest differentiator.

At IBRACE, we investigate how neuroscience, education, altruism, and mental health can prepare people and cultures for a more mindful, creative, and humane future, while also seeking to integrate Neuroscience and Spirituality.

Research in Development

  • Description: Investigation of the effects of different sound frequencies on the human brain, focusing on treatments for anxiety, depression, and other mental disorders. Studies could explore both audible and inaudible frequencies (ultrasonic and infrasonic) and their potential therapeutic applications.

Associated technologies: Frequency analysis software, high-definition recording equipment, virtual reality/augmented reality for immersion in controlled sound environments, and electroencephalographic analysis.

  • Description: Study of how altruistic practices can influence brain structure and function, leading to positive long-term changes. The research could investigate whether engaging in altruistic activities can improve emotional resilience and potentially reduce the risk of mental disorders.

Associated technologies: Eye tracking, functional neuroimaging (fMRI), and electroencephalography (EEG).

  • Description: Development and assessment of educational platforms that use artificial intelligence to optimize personalized learning. Studying how AI can identify learning patterns and adapt content to improve information retention and comprehension. In addition, investigating the impact of excessive use of technologies such as screens and mobile devices on teaching and learning. This would include studying potential benefits as well as challenges and adverse effects associated with extensive use of technology in education.

Associated technologies: Adaptive learning platforms, predictive analytics, virtual reality/augmented reality for immersive education, and device-use monitoring to study habits and impacts on learning.

  • Description: Investigation of the neural processes underlying decision-making in high-pressure environments, such as those found in large companies. The goal is to understand how managers make strategic decisions, address ethical dilemmas, and manage risks, and how these skills can be enhanced through training and technology.

Associated technologies: Virtual reality simulations to recreate decision-making scenarios, electroencephalography (EEG) and functional neuroimaging (fMRI) to monitor brain activity during simulations, and AI-assisted learning platforms for decision-making skills training.

  • Description: In-depth investigation of the neural foundations of emotions and feelings, emphasizing how they are influenced and shaped by social interactions and emerging technologies. The study would seek to understand how the brain processes and regulates emotions in different contexts, from face-to-face interactions to digital communications. It could also explore how virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and other technologies affect the perception and expression of emotions.

Associated technologies: Functional neuroimaging (fMRI) to map brain areas active during emotional experiences, virtual reality/augmented reality to simulate social interactions and assess emotional responses, and AI-assisted sentiment analysis to evaluate emotional expressions on digital platforms.

  • Description: Investigation of the effects of different types of meditation on the nervous and immune systems and on specific areas of the brain, focusing on mental health treatment and neuroplasticity.

Associated technologies: Software and equipment for analyzing brainwaves and heart rate, as well as virtual reality/augmented reality devices for immersion in controlled sound environments.

  • Description: Investigation of the effects of compassion, self-compassion, and various meditation techniques on different brain regions, as well as on physical and mental health and lifestyle.

Associated technologies: Software, image and frequency analysis equipment, and medical histories.

  • Description: Investigation and training of responses to different situations based on image and sound analysis and the use of neurofeedback techniques associated with decision-making during deep meditative states.

Associated technologies: Software and equipment for measuring brainwaves and heart rate.
